Looking for an unusual Mother's Day gift?  THE WHITE ELEPHANT has a large selection of interesting onyx and alabaster eggs from Greece. Large eggs are priced at $10, small $8. There are also two Chinese cloisonne Colbalt  eggs (black and white backgrounds w/ stands) @ $30 each, a largeand Gold egg from Finland's Arabia @ $50, a small vintage Limoges egg @ $45 and a large porcelain egg decorated with violets, made in Occupied Japan @ $55. 

Other items include a small Bohemia cut crystal basket produced in mid-80s Czechoslovakia for $60, a vintage German two-tone blue basket @ $22 and an Italian Capodimonte porcelain flower basket (picture below) for $100 (appx 9"H x 7"W). All are in the case. Also look for these items in spring/summer colors: Lovely yellow (small rectangle w/ 6 napkins) or white tablecloth (small square w/ 6 napkins) sets from Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo) with hand embroidered embellishments, a large pastel blue TC from Finland, a large Pakistani mirrored turquoise cloth and two colorful cloths w/ napkins from Thailand. These range from $20 to $50. A large purple glass vase from Spain for $30 is on the bottom shelf.
